Quinton House - Hope born out of hopelessness
Quinton House offers treatment based on the bio-psycho-social model of substance misuse treatment. We encourage attendance at 12-Step fellowship meetings. We also offer life skills training events and all treatment methods used are implemented according to our model of treatment.

We view relapse prevention as an integral part of our treatment programme and an on-going integrated relapse prevention module is implemented as well as a formal 12 week relapse prevention workshop, delivered by an Advanced Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist.

Our treatment programme also encompasses various theoretical orientations such as Interpersonal Group Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and 12-Step facilitation. We encourage healthy diet and exercise as part of our holistic approach to recovery from all addictions.  We are  sensitive to gender issues and hold gender specific groups if required.

We work with families using a systemic approach and this is facilitated by a qualified family and relationship therapist who is also a British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy (BASRT) accredited Psycho-Sexual therapist. We encourage the involvement of significant others in our service users' treatment plan.

Our staff members are qualified, trained and assessed to be competent in the treatment of substance misuse/addiction issues. They undertake regular training, supervision and case consultation. External training is actively encouraged and on-site training is a primary agency concern

Our multi-disciplinary team members include Addictions specialists accredited by the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP)  and are highly experienced in various disciplines.
